Other Motorcycle: 1998 Speed Triple
Has anyone modified the top triple clamp to accept "Fat Bars" with 1 1/8" tubing at the clamps? Wondering if there is enough meat to bore the existing clamps.

Basically, they have risers that clamp into the original clamps and have another clamp above. Difficult to explain but they look like they'll work for you..

Yes. That would do it. May try to do something a bit less busy if there is enough room. The original post/clamp is quite tall so I was thinking about milling it down some and boring new saddles closer to the top of the triple clamp. Although, I have visions of really screwing this up and seaching ebay for a new triple clamp.
