This question has been asked in classic with no response......

I've mounted my stator backwards, ie wire side in. I realized after it was installed tonite...

will this effect it at all?

I'm guessing this is a Meriden Triumph. If so, there's a good chance the cable will get caught in the primary chain. Best to fit it the right way round.

It won't affect anything electrical though.

Also check the clearance all the way round which should be around .008" IIRC.
