First of all dispense with the idea that you will drop the bike every time you stop, you won't. In my experience you will drop , sorry lower to the ground the bike when you were stationary to begin with. I think it's fair to say that everyone has dropped thier bike at some time or other,. usually when they have been stood still. Yo don't read on these pages of riders who have dropped their bikes at speed.
The seat will drop down by .5 cm on the adjuster and by the time you have a few miles under your belt the seat will have compressed under your weight and hey presto, both feet are on the floor. The Tiger is a bit of a shock at first not only because your feet don't appear to reach the deck but also because you are sat up much higher, the two experiences certainly give you second thoughts.
When I first rode tested a Tiger I very nearly turned round after a mile and took it back, I thought it was pants.
Last week I took my tiger in for service and I was loaned a brand new Sprint St, great I thought. I soon took that back at the first opportunity, it seemed I was overshadowed by the smallest cars, unseen by lorries and buses, riding along with my chin on the floor, bloody awful riding position after the Tiger.
Go on you now it makes sense, GET THE TIGER!!!
