I rebuilt a trashed 1999 Tiger last Spring that took me to 21 states and Canada last summer. We've done about 10K miles together since June! I bought it on eBay from a pawnshop in Denver, it had spent part of its life in NY and was finally totalled by Geico in Colorado. In the course of the rebuild I was faced with "extra" electrical connectors in various places. I think the two that most folks run into near the fuel tank are parts for different emissions systems. There seem to be three - maybe there are more - versions of emissions systems: California, Germany, and the rest of the planet. I also found differences in the wiring mounts on the inner rear fender, the one I bought to replace the original had the German wiring clips. If anybody knows the history of my machine - it was originally black - I would like to hear from them!
