Thanks for that mate, very useful for maths plebs like me :razz: :razz:

I am going to make this post 'Sticky' for a while so it sits up the top of the page.

The foot pounds to newton metres conversion is particularly because a lot of Triumph references talk in newton metres, but most torque wrenches sitting in everyone's toolboxes are calibrated in foot/pounds .

Maybe this little program wouold be of use to everyone, it converts just about anything to anything,,even NM`s to Foot pounds , see http://www.pawprint.net/vv/ , I have nothing to do with this company, I just happen to use the program occasionally...and I quote from the site :-

Or you can download this little program and do all the conversions you ever need offline....great little program...converts everything!
