2008 Tiger. started bike today and left my place, giving gas in 1st. shift to 2nd and give more gas, waiting to feel torque kick in and instead of revving hard, bike just kind of fizzed out with no power and stalled. Will not re start. lights come on, engine turns but will not catch. yes there is fuel. I'm at 22K and have not done my 20K valve adjustment yet... that was planed for this week... any ideas?
You've checked fuses connections etc.
Have you got an immobilizer fitted?
I had a similar problem with my Sprint 1050, turned out the immobilzer failed and shut the ignition down. It was replaced under warranty no problems after that!
is the fuel pump running? you should hear a hum when you turn on. check fuse and connector.
fuel filters can clog and pop the pipe off in the tank engine will just stop and will not start. unless you have a pressure gauge rig you need to disassemble to find out
