I know this has been discussed in old threads, but I wanted to share my recent experiences because it's pretty positive.
I bought my '05 Tiger last August, and, from the off, I had trouble
with the engine stalling at junctions and lights - when I pulled the clutch in and cut the throttle, the engine wouldn't idle, but just stall and need to be re-started.
I know others have had the same problem and an update to the latest engine management software was suggested by some, as was the idea of 'blipping' the throttle a few times to reset the valves.
Anyway, last week I *finally* got around to taking the bike into Fowlers of Bristol to get the ECU re-programmed and, hey presto!, the bike is working like magic - no stalls, a smoother tick-over, an altogether 'growlier' sound! :-D
Wanted to share this so that anyone else with the same problem knows that there is a working fix!
