Hi, I hope someone can shed some light on a fault which has recently developed with my Tiger 900 (carb) model.
When the bike is cold the neutral position indication works perfectly, the light comes on and the engine can be started in neutral with the side stand down, and the clutch lever fully out.
However after I've ridden the bike for just a short distance - only a couple of miles is enough, then the neutral light does not come on, and if I kick the sidestand down the engine cuts out, as it should if the bike were in gear, even though the bike IS in neutral.
The fault is consistent since it started and it hasn't varied at all, it has got me thoroughly baffled. :???:
Can anyone help, please?
