Has anyone used the K & N air filter to replace the oem filter on their tiger, and if so, how is it working for you?

Works, dunno if any difference other than the longevity (read $ savings over time).

Yes, I've had one in mine for 11000 miles now. I replaced it along with putting Iridium plugs in and fitting a 19T front sprocket.
The bike works well like this. I didn't notice any difference in performance and the mpg has improved to high 50's mpg (UK).
I guess it will pay for itself over time.

Mike-

1 Imperial gallon (UK) is equal to 1.2 US gallons

Not surprisingly:

1 US gallon is equal to 0.83 Impreial gallons (UK)

This makes these MPG conversations a little tricky.

Hey, Big Stripey, perhaps we can get this conversion posted somewhere in the banner of the forum (all forums) because we sure do spend a lot of posting time and space on this topic.

Anyone ever wonder what went wrong with US and Brit measures, did we just reinvent the pint, gallon and such for our own purposes..jeez!

I thought a ***** gallon was a gallon, a pint was a pint...what happened here...anyone know the history behind this snafu? -cheers....-Mike
