Hello,

I picked up a 2000 Tiger as my new rider this weekend and the signals are inop. Can anyone tell me where the relay is located and the wire colors leading to the relay. I really want to get riding so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jim

Jim,

The relays are located behind the front fairing on the left hand side (as you sit on the bike). Just behind the inner console where the blanking plate or heated grips switch is situated. There is a rubber cover over the relays themselves.

The wires for the indicators are : Green and red for the left hand side and green and white for the right hand side. Bur from the relay itself the wires will be black, orange and grey and green and grey.

hope this helps ?

Jim

Again this site proves to be very knowledgable and helpful. Relay replaced (I used an AC Delco) and ready to go. Thanks all.

Curious - would you be able/willing to post a art number? I have a feeling that I am going to get tired of my really fast blinkers soon.

This is the Delco # 9442872, but flashing is quick with it also. Don't know if this helps you.

Thanks,

Jim

I wonder if we should be using some type of LED application flasher? I know the lights themselves are not LEDs but they must be a fairly low draw.

Just thinking out loud. :???:
