bit confused, as any coolant should really vent out by the rear shock, as that's where the breather hose ends - you sure it's connected up?
Anyway, I've got a similar problem. If I fill to more than halfway between min and max a lot of coolant is quickly vented off, it tends to settle just above min. If you do some searching here you'll find a few people have had this issue, and it's just one of those things, not much to worry about.
What I have found though is up and down mountain passes (pain in the ar*e up and down the Pyrenees) when stopping at the top of a pass a lot of coolant would be vented off, whilst the reservoir tank would boil like mad for a minute. This would leave me me way below min in the tank, and I would constantly have to refill. Not found an answer to this, if anyone has a good idea let me know... (Regarding the good old altitude/boiling point physics class, have already considered that, and don't think it should matter at 2000m altitude???)
