Correct me if I am wrong, but the price for a Hagon shock plus the remote preload adjuster would be £255 + £125 (for the adjuster) = £380?

For that money, would there not be a better alternative?

Hagon are competitive against other manufacturers and offer a good product.
I fitted Hagon springs and rear shocjk to my Tbird and the ride is much better and so is the handling.

I didn't say Hagon was not a good product, but at the end of the day it is a budget shock, and there is always something better. Presently there is a Maxton on my VFR, had a WP on my KTM, and had a Hagon on my Bandit - sorry, but when you are going for it, the Hagon reveals it's limitations.

Compared to WP and Ohlins the Hagon is outperformed hands down. But the reality for me was the price!. The Ohlins was nearly £600 and the WP was almost £500. Definately a case of 'You get what you pay for'. Whatever....The Hagon is still way better than the stock on a Tiger

I ride my Tiger pretty hard and i have found the Hagon to be 100% reliable under most conditions. Including the Nurburgring, Mountain twisties, Sunday morning breakfast runs you name it really. It took me a while to set it up properly, but there is definately a 'sweet spot' where it really does perform well. It took me a couple of days to find it, but the folks at Hagon were really helpful. Dropping the bike 22 mm on the front forks really compliments the Hagon and balances up the difference after fitting the Hagon

Also, being just up the road in Hainault helps if and when i need any parts.
