I'm half way through installing a scottoiler on my 200 tiger , all was going well untill I came to put the tank back on , thats when I noticed a red and grey electrical connector on the right hand side under the tank , just above the cam cover . I dont remenber unplugging this connector , and can't find anywhere to plud it back in to , I am sure I have reconnected everything I disconnected . Does any one know what this connector is?? :???:
The enine starts and runs OK , and all the normal lights come on etc

Parky - someone might confirm this or shoot it down in flames but I reckon you're good to go, there's at least one spare connector in that area, if not more. I had a right go at my dealer for not connecting everything up after a service, just to be told not to worry....

Thanks TourqueyT ,
I hope so ! I think I will speak to the local Triumph dealer . The Bike is a 2006 Tiger ( not 200 as in the first post ) Maybe the connector is for diagnostics etc for the ECU .

There are emissions parts that are unique to German and California Tigers. The extra plugs are for that stuff. If you look carefully in the Clymer guide, you can find this info. Since I bought a wrecked Tiger, during the rebuild I checked things real carefully!
