Hi
I -once again - need your advice
My Tiger has developed a nasty habbit ; it started to 'wobbe' (don't know a better word for it).
Whenever I reach a speed of above 80 km/h it seems the rear wheel develops a 'wobble'.

I think have to adjust the spring. I weigh ca. 96 Kg. What would be the right setting?
Thanks

Set it on number 5, and turn the ajuster at the bottom of the shock to increase the compression and rebound(for what it's worth!!)it won't be enough but it's the best you can do with a stock shock.

check your rear wheel alignment and bearings then.

Have you adjusted the chain recently ? Maybe you haven't adjusted it the same both sides ?

Or your rear shock's stuffed and you need a new one. Any sign of leakage from the bottom ?

WW whats the milage on your Tiger, as this may help in checking if any thing is past its sell by date, and also has this fault suddenly developed or over a period of time. ??

Last time I had a wobble it turned out to be simply low tyre pressure - which was ofcourse the last thing I checked......

5Tiger thnx
All good tips; here are my answers
- No problem with alignment and bearings
- chain has been adjusted but it's on 1 side only ; 2002 model with excentre and the adjustment has been checked by mechanic
- no leakage from bottom

I'll keep looking

Hi Clive I'm at 13000 km
It has developed over a period of time or could be that my butt is getting sensitive by the years. :jest:
On a serious note; when I drive with my lady there is no wobble!
