i would like to change the electric oiler on my 99 tiger as it is slow and awkward to fill and doesn't put out enough oil in bad weather,i have the correct scottoiler tee piece but would like to confirm where to fit it.at the minute i am assuming it needs to go on one of the hoses leading to the idle air control valve.hope someone can enlighten me. :???: null

The Scottoiler site has all the instructions on line. It's a little more difficult for us because it's all in English English!

Just got mine fitted at my local dealer, the guy said he had a hell of a job, spent half the (billable) time on the scottoiler website.

Clear pics are on triumhtiger-online though, I wish I'd taken them in with me, could've saved me and him a deal of grief/£'s.

That's grief/$1.80's for you US readers

You need a new local dealer! The basic installation is a no-brainer, what takes some time is if you get into the fabrication of new brackets and such to make it look like it came on the bike. I made stainless steel clips for the distribution tube, drilled holes and grommeted them through my hugger, etc. That took some thinking and creativity. If the oiler was a challenge, what happens when something really important needs to be worked on? The service rate at my local dealer is $85/hr, that's about 45 pounds/hr ( I don't have the "L" thing on my keyboard!)
