Hi every one whilst getting new front tyre fitted to 01 tiger I noticed hair line cracks in several place's on both front disc's and she's only done 18k is this a common fault and can anyone recomend a replacement with a realistic price that won't take forever to be suppleid as of to the pyrenes with btbc in a fortnight thanks

Other Motorcycle: 2002 Tiger
Not sure where to get them, but EBC has some good ones... Also, Bonneville front rotors are the same as the ones on my '02 Tiger... Just another option... Hope you find your parts...

After 18k miles, my '03 had the same issue.

I purchased it second hand and discovered that one of the standard Sunstar discs had already been replaced but the other (original) was horribly cupped and had developed a nasty crack.

After seeing the regularity with which the standard discs seem to fail, I followed the advice of several experienced friends, and purchased some good quality pattern discs from Sprint Manufacturing (UK). Fantastic, I have never looked back!

Along with sintered Nissin pads they stop the bike quickly and progressively.

YMMV but it was definitely the right choice for me :wink:

thankyou all for help and advice I have now located a second hand pair of disc's that'll do for now I have already used triumph online (carbon blueflame can o2sensor eliminator and scotoiler) they have a good quick service
