I have an 05 Tiger. Will I get any noticeable lowering by taking the 4 rubber frame bumpers off the bottom of the front Tiger Rider's seat?

Remove your seat and separate the runner frame from the seat itself. Locate the 4 black rubber bungs which are about 8mm high. Prize them out carefully and reverse them so the lug is now pointing where the bung was. Tape over the rivet holding the spring so it doesn't scratch the bike frame. Remove the two rubber rollers from the front metal pins.

Reinstall. The seat should sit about 6mm lower on the bike frame

If you want to go lower, you need to either:
a) see: www.adrianmolloy.com/Lower_Seat.html
OR
b) buy a Hagon lowering shock

The Hagon shock does the job, handles better, adjusts superbly - faultless

OK I had to cut an inch off sidestand and reweld on the base plate of the satnd - but 10 minutes with an angle grinder and a fiver to my local car garage and quick spray with Hammerite - JOB DONE

try playing around with the rear shock remote adjuster, soften it and the bike will get lower when you sit on it and adjust the screw at the bottom of the shock for the rebound. i have tryed all the cutting bits out of the seat frame and now run the seat at the middle position. just remember where the settings are at the mo, so you can go back to what it was before you started adjusting.( so if you dont like it you can get it back to where it was ) it will take a bit of time to tune it to your weight and riding style but can be done.

works for me !!

hi madmic, im 5`10`` and about 13.5 stone with all my bike gear on, weight makes a big difference to suspention settings. i have the seat on the middle hole and can flatfoot with both feet.

let your buddy sit on your bike with it set softer, as long as you make a note of where your setting are you can put it back to where it was !!

KK

ps also drop the seat to the lower position.
