Thumbs down Crankshaft positioning sensor, Pickup coil

Hi all,

Can anyone tell me were to find the crankshaft positioning sensor / pickup coil on a 2003 triumph tiger 955i (spoke wheels).

It keeps cutting out/rough idleing when hot. It also refuses to restart until it has cooled down.

I have found drawings here:

But I cannot locate it on the bike

I have the new sensor but I dont have the correct manual yet.

Please help.

Many thanks

Matt.

It's behind the alternator on the left hand side of the engine.
The sensor is held onto the engine with a Torx screw.
Should be easy to see with 2 wires coming out of it.
Take care that the O-ring doesn't slip when putting the new one in.

I'll try and take a photo of it on my 2001 Tiger and post it here.
