Today, I have mostly been...

... practising taking the tank off my girlie and put it back on again. And I can confirm that it gets a bit tedious after the third time.

The first time I took mine off it took forever. Now it's about 10 mins. Which is just as well because last time I did my throttle bodies I put her all back together and was just putting my tools away (not normal behaviour in my garage) when I noticed the IACV foam rubber gasket on the bench

Such is life, but I really don't need the practice....

Me too BB It's still there on the bench.Due to my slipped discs I can only get to work on the Tigger every few days but as you know from a different forum I haven't got it running yet anyway so doesn't really make any difference

I'm not even game to take mine off. I can make simple tasks into a major event!

I can relate to that. A couple of months ago my rad cap failed so off came the tank for the new rad cap and coolant change. Refit everything but then couldn't find the little rubber bung for the overflow tank. I turned the garage upside down thinking it had bounced somewhere. Bugger. It must be sitting on top of the rocker cover............and it was.

zadok oz, just go for it. As long as you are methodical and take your time it's fairly straightforward. Just remember to reconnect the tank sender unit wire before you put the tank back on!
