Fuse for clock/trip/acc' socket 955i

Hi guys and gals,

This is my first post on this site, and it's a bit of an embarrassment! I have recently wired in some angel eye spotlights hanging from my engine protection bars - all very nice. In the process I seem to have blown a fuse, as the clock, trip, heated grips and accessory socket have all stopped working (the clock still glows!). It may be a case that I have knocked a connection off while wiring a feed from the back of the headlight, however (this is the embarrassing bit) I am not sure where the fuse (or any of the fuse box for that matter) is.

Please be nice...

Greg

No no - its a 15amp fuse, the blue one, not the red 10amp.

Stephen,
is it still No. 3?
It's been a few years since I had a 955i, It's No.3 on the 1050!

No it's not - it's the red 10 amp number 3! (The numbers are to the right of the fuses)

I found it much easier locating the fuse box in the day time, not relying on the power of a torch - sometimes patience is a virtue

Turns out it's the grey box with all the fuses in it behind the battery...

Thanks for your help tigg-ted

Ok - need to dig my book out, mine is fuse three, witha 15amp blade in it.. I did something simular recently and blew the fuse, just replaced it like for like - never checked the book to see if it was actually supposed to be a 15amp.. will have to ensure i double check myself now.

my memory not as bad as I thought!
It was the only fuse that ever blew on my 955i (Sprint) in three years of ownership.
But it can't be good if you had a 15 amp in it that blew and was replaced with another one? Or has the original wiring been upgraded to cope with extra's?
