BTW, the bikes already had two sets of front discs due to warping in its 25K life and it's not unique on the fleet.
If the fitter torques down the bolts unevenly, or doesn't clean up the locating surfaces, it doesn't take much to warp the disc.
The discs on my 06 Tiger were replaced after 5k, although they were probably shot well before that mileage. They've now done a further 5k without problem.
Incidentally, when I first reported the problem to the dealer, they said that the run out wasn't sufficient for Triumph to replace under warranty. However, with a little friendly persuasion, the dealer relented and exaggerated the problem to Triumph.

My 06 Tiger has had three lots of front disks replaced within the warranty and have now got the same problem outside of the warranty!
Triumph have come to the party and are replacing them again!
While I applaud Triumph for their support outside the warranty, I want the problem fixed, once and for all!
Have any of you used aftermarket floating disk replacements?
If you have, where did you get them and how are they performing?
I believe the same problem exists on another Triumph 955i sports model of the same vintage too.
I really enjoy my Tiger and am not too ham fisted with the brakes but I don't soft peddle the bike, I bought it to use to it's full capability.
Perhaps that should read, "to my full capability" rather than the bike's! (there is probably quite a big difference)
