Stock "Triumph" car alarm... Can't figure it out.

My 01' Girlie has a car alarm stock from the factory... or at least that's what I think.

It's mounted under the rear plastic under the rear rack and has a slight mess of wires coming out of it that really don't go anywhere.

When the bike is off, the alarm is on... no ifs-ands-or buts. The only way to turn it off is to turn the key to "ON", push the "O" button on the remote, and then turn the kill-switch on, pull in the clutch, and push start.

Is there any way to COMPLETELY disarm the alarm before I even put the key in the bike, or is this just how it is?

Off the bike, if I push the "O" once the alarm beeps once. If I push it again it beeps twice. The sensitivity seems to be a little higher on the second push with 2 beeps... you can barely touch the back seat and the alarm goes off.

The triangle button on the controller seems to do absolutely nothing.

Can you tell me if I'm missing something? The owner's manual says nothing on the alarm.

Yours sounds like the Evo - I think the standard fit is the System 21. Instructions here.
