Exhaust for 96 Tiger 900

I have searched a few times and I can not find any posts describing much of an exhaust for the old steamers. I have the stock pipes on my 96 and want something a bit louder. I am not hoping/ expecting any big performance gain(I won't turn down one.) Question 2 is will this require re-jetting? If so I will probably order a K&N filter for it at the same time and just take it somewhere to get it professionally re-jetted.

exhaust for 96 tiger

I have a set of used Yoshimura exhausts that I removed to put the stockers back on because I wanted quiet for long distance touring. They were noticeably louder, but not overly obnoxious. I just prefer real quiet.

With a jet kit and K&N air filter there does seem to be a slight but noticeable bump in power, but the stock set up still has plenty for me.

Anyway, the Yoshimuras now sit in my garage and I planned to clean off some surface rust and list them on the classified forum. If you (or anyone else) want them the price is $100.00 plus shipping.

I have Yosh cans on mine...LOVE them. People always comment on how awesome they sound. And since they're NLA, you better pick up tacomaguy's!

There's a thread over on tigertriple.com that lists out some options. Renegade, D&D, I think there are a couple more, too...

Pat

Here's a video that may give you an idea of how mine sound...
