Moving heated grips switch
Has anyone considered moving the heated grips switch on a 955i? It's not very conveniently placed in the fairing there, and I noticed there is a blanked out switch cover on the right-hand switchgear. Anyone know what would go in that switch position, or if it's possible to get that switch from Triumph?

Cheers.

Pluck.

Hi Pluck,

I think the right hand switch blanks are from the days when headlights had to be put on manually. I think there was a "kill switch" as well.

I'm not sure, but some Country's Triumph supply to might still have that option so they are blanked off for everyone else.

I understand your problem, but what would you use to blank the hole where the origional switch was ? It might look "untidy".

Hadn't thought that far ahead yet - but I guess I'd either leave the original switch and wiring in place in case I wanted to swap it back to stock, or I'd mount a couple of accessory sockets in the gap.

Maplins to some decent looking waterproof 3-way switches which look like they'd fit in the blanking plate on the RH switchgear.

Probably a winter job - I'll let you know if I decide to do it.

Pluck
