955i front forks
does anyone know if its possible to swap the standard front forks on a 55plate 955i tiger to the upside down forks from the 1050i tiger,,

has anyone else thought about this or have done it, if so is it better?

The amount of travel on the 07 is about half of that on 955. I think there are better choices if you want a road bike.

What's wrong with the original forks? Try using slightly thicker oil in them and increase the amount slightly. I use a mix of 2/3 15W and 1/3 10W to give about a 13.66W and fill to 105mm from the top of the compressed leg with spring removed. I find it gives better control without being too stiff and reduced dive.
