Angry Givi windscreen no more than 100 kmph?

Just bought a Givi windsrceen for my 2003 Tiger 955i and just discovered one shouldn´t drive more than 100 kmph when itas mounted on the bike. I bought it to protect me against the wind when going fast. Any experiences with this...? Its pretty useless if 100 is the limit.

How will Givi know you've been riding faster than their recommendation?

Good question ;-) The issue is, though, that I worry whether the screen and the place on the bike where it is attached is gonna be solid enough for higer speeds. I thought maybe somebody have have tried it...

Take a look at the Ceebaileys http://www.ceebaileys.com/triumph/tigersel.html screens. They're huge and they don't fall off. The fairing is prone to wobbling a bit though.

CYA, (cover your butt) just in case it flys off they can say you must have been riding too fast.

I have a Givi touring screen on my 1050 and I've taken it over 100mph. Don't know what they recommend with that product but I havn't seen any problems with the screen or with its mounts

Here's a shot that shows the braces I put on to reduce the wobbling. That's a GIVI screen with an extension that has held up at speeds that the Tiger can't achieve as documented by my GPS!
