Hi all:

I love my 96 Tiger, but on long rides find that my shoulders and back suffer from the reach to the handlebars being a bit long. I would like to bring the bars up an inch and back a bit, but would like to be able to tweak it to find the perfect sweet spot.

That could mean buying multiple different risers until getting the combination just right. Does anyone make an adjustable type of riser? If os how well do they work and are they strong enough for some rough road use?

Happy Trails make or sells an anti vib riser of about 2". It bolts into the existing spot and you can rotate the riser and bar sepratly. Haven't tried yet but is installed on my bike.

Check out ROX risers (lots of adjustment every direction), I put 2" risers on my Girlie this spring and they're great. No cable issues either.

Wait. They're installed on your bike but you haven't tried them? Is it snowing? I know it is here, and we haven't been able to shake loose yet. Hoping it warms enough by the weekend to get the first ride of the season.

I asked some of these questions about the Rox (1 7/8") a week or two ago, but was apparently on the wrong forum. I'd like to know how they worked for anyone else (including like, enough slack - but as Miker pointed out, there is a danger of pulling on the cables when the forks are topped out). Otherwise I'll be looking at the SW Motech risers.

I'd be interested in hearing how any of these sets worked for you once you've had a chance to test them out.
