Mick,
The Triumph extender that I've got works a treat. With it fitted the dirt stops 1" below the top of the bash plate. Of course, it doesn't stop the crap coming round the sides.

Thanks H, I've bought some good quality rubber step tread that looks like it will be nice to cut to shape and bolt in place for both front and rear. If that fails, I'll get the extenders, or go hunting around the breakers for a set of Fiat Bambino flaps.
