I use mine quite a bit for everyday riding. It is big enough for rain gear, extra (clear) visor, and lots of other things. Some complain about mounting and dismounting problems for the rider with the tail-bag in place. I usually leave it on the bike until I need to take off the seat for something. When using the tank bag, I remove it after each ride because I don't like to leave it on the paint.

The genuine Triumph tail-bag fits good, looks good, and because of the location, one doesn't need to worry about watching one's speed with it on the bike, IMHO.
