Front disky spinny bits

Hello to all.
Having treated myself to a 2001 tigger (after some b*s*d nicked my lovely old 92 855) and had lots of fun adding bits recomended here, (O2 elliminator, most excellent, and led display lights, very cool hint of blue) is the extra £50 worth spending on the floating front disc conversion from EBS.
Mine are currently very grooved!!

Hi Mate,

Welcome to the forum.

I'm not an expert on brakes, but if you can lock the front wheel on a Tiger with standard discs, then I'd assume they are powerful enough.

I don't know why you would need to put a non standard disc on, you tell me ??

Is it because you get more "feel", cheaper, or they look better ??

Finally, if you have a crash and your insurance company find you have a non standard front brake set up, they might ask questions - but again it's only an assumption, I would'nt know.

Good luck with what ever you decide !

I've got the floating disks on one of my 01 Tigers. It seemed worthwhile to me at the time. I am using the HH pads and am happy with the performance, almost to much braking power for the Tourance tires but it works for me.
