Well, i have finally relented and got some hard luggage for the bike. I already had a Givi top box, but i just picked up (mega cheap deal on e-bay)some 40 litre Kappa panniers and the rack to mount them etc.

Anybody fitted the Givi/Kappa rack to take the boxes?? The instructions are basic in the extreme , Anything to watch out for / problems etc ?

Thanks in advance...

Hi BigStripey

Sorry can't help you there I've got the Give V46 top box and the Touratech Zega pannier system both of which were easy to instal. The pannier rails were easy to fit on to all the existing fixing points that the Triumph rails utilise so I would expect the Givi/Kappa ones would be the same.

Happy fixing!!

All fitted now.....went without a hitch

Very robust indeed, they look like they will stand up to the job.....I'll just have to remember they are on when i try to filter through traffic

I've put a couple of pics in the Tiger Forum Album

New luggage

Jim,

Looks good, personally, I think it looks better than the Triumph ones.

I've got a Givi mounting kit, same as, but i'm gonna shorten the exhaust side mount to bring it in to the same distance as is on the near side.

The cross brace behind the no' plate might need a bit of tinkering with to get it to fit my bike though, as I no longer have a full undertray.
