German forum has some discussion and some great pics of this screen fitted. (go through all pages of the discussion - 6 at present).

I have not had time to translate all the discussion but it looks as though (like every other screen, some liked it more than others and different folk found different settings suited them better.

The good point seems to be it is adjustable and it appears to be a bit wider than the standard which should offer some additional protection.

Whether it is better or worse than others?????

Looks a good option though

I had one on my old Varadero a few years back. That was a good screen. I have no doubt it will work as well on a Tiger. Would love to know what our Bavarian friends are saying about the thing!! Will go for one if handlebar clearance etc ok.

when you look at the pics on the thread (click on some of them for a larger view) it looks to me that it would be well clear of the bars. It seems to be wider higher up (possibly more shoulder protection).

ok just translated most of it. Someone asked if it fouled bars and/or mirrors and was told as far as I could tell NO. No problem with this.

It seems the board managed to talk MRA into providing two test screens which they have been passing around and are in process of compiling thoughts. They asked that each assessor gave some details as to their height etc but more importantly the height from the seat to their nose and the seat position. This is in fact more sensible as it gives a clearer indication of head height thatn pure height would. They are also noting which helmets were worn.

As with every screen it seems a few were well impressed, others non-commital and a couple thought it was no good/better than what they had.

There seemed to be a problem with the fit of one of the screens(mounting holes not exactly lined up) but the other appears to be a perfect fit - maybe one was just an initial tester from the factory rather than the finished article, dunno.

There seems to be a lot of variation in where folk found the settings best for them - as you would expect.

It seems also that it is relatively stable up to 140/150/160km/hr then a bit of vibration sets in but they are still in process and these points were only raised by individuals.

They plan o making up a table of results soon.

;-) Done the evil deed and ordered one ! Reckon takes 10 days to arrive. I will post some piccies of mine up when fitted. What sold it for me was the quality of the one I had on the old Varadero. Worth a shot. End result I will soon advertise a really nice 'Jack Lilliey' touring screen on E bay. That worked well too, but the adjustment factor sold it.
:-D Anyone else over here got one yet !

I have ordered one also. It probably won't get to Oz until about late March. It's a long way down here and it must be coming by bullock cart.

I will report my completely objective assessment also.

If you pay my flight and put me up for a few weeks with a few beers chucked in for good measure I can hand deliver it for you this week.

Would you be so kind as to hand deliver mine as well ? I would give you a cup of tea before went back home. You have to go via the Dales in Derbyshire where the importer is. A nice round trip for you. Save me a tenner ! :-D
