Gents (and ladies),
Greetings, just moved up from a Trophy to the big cat. My initial impressions are quite favourable - with the exception of the stock seat. Does anyone ride with the Triumph gel seat, and do you like it? How about the Corbin? I had a Corbin on the Trophy and found it to be well crafted and quite comfortable. Any imput would be greatly appreciated.

Brittour,

Welcome along! nice choice of bike.............

Ref the seating, the gel seat is the Billy Doos!!, well worth every penny you pay. I have ridden some big miles with the gel seat and been really impressed with the comfort, unlike the stock seat, where i would NEED to get off after about 150 miles

Welcome to Tigerland,
I don't know where Westminster, CO is, but I use a Gel seat and it is really good. Based on comments on this website, some people love them and others don't notice the difference. I have not seen adverse comments. One point to note is that Gel seats absorb heat from the sun and get very hot. I use a sheepskin (homemade) over the top. I have ridden fro n17.5 hours with just stops for fuel and have been very comfortable. I could have got back on and done it again.

Haven't tried the Corbin.

Well, Timtiger
Westminster CO is a suburb of Denver, Colorado USA located on the Northwest side of the city. It was originally named Lancashropsfordshire on Platte, but renamed due to the locals inability to pronounce it. East of here are boring, straight high plains roads. West of here are the scenic Rocky Mountains, home to a multitude of exciting and diverse rides. I feel truly blessed to live here.

Sounds like you chaps are quite enamoured with the gel seat. Thanks for the feedback!

most if not all of us that have fitted the gel seat have been impressed with it. Yes there are other options but I believe the Triumph one to be the cheapest and quickest way to a comfortable ride.

TimTiger...

Howdy from Colorado Springs... Yes, Colorado is beautiful...

I have the Corbin on my '02... I love it... It is wider and gives me more room front to rear. If you're not in a hurry to purchase something new, we could set up a meet to have you give the Corbin a look see...

Hope you got some good riding in this last week... Sure doesn't feel like Janurary...
