Sounds like the Blue Flame is just right.
Trident has been advertising on this site, therfore I would have liked to buy from someone who is supporting the site. Blume Flame sounds like the cats meow.....or growl as the case may be.

OK now, how about TOR vs Blue Flame? Anyone have any preferences or experiences between the two? I'm trying to decide between these two unless there is another brand that is more cost effective with a good sound.

Well, after just a few minutes the old stock (heavy) pipe was gone and the Blue Flame (much lighter) is in place.

I have only run it with the baffle in, I have not had the TOR tune installed yet.
But the sound is much improved all ready. I really can't tell a huge difference in
power, possibly the new tune will help?????

All in all service was great from the U.S. rep and the fit/finish is good. Seems a "little" closer to the saddle bag than the stock pipe, but heat doesn't seem to be an issue.

Certainly would recommend.

Glad you like it. I spent HOURS fiddling with the fit to get it a reasonable distance from the panniers, got there eventually though. The power might improve with TOR and no baffles, but you are only talking about a few extra hp on top of 90 odd, might also be a bit smoother.

It will sound LOVELY though.

enjoy it.

cheers

John

blue flame

Hi guys,

needed to add to your thread as fitted a blue flame a few weeks ago but not had chance to try it out til today - I have to say that apart from the great sound, I found it much smoother through the revs with virtually no snatch (especially at low revs where it did before), & much reduced popping when throttling off - & all this without remapping!

definately a worthwhile mod

cheers
