I'm 5'8"...got my +7 Calsci yesterday and installed it today and tested it at speeds well over the posted limits.
At first I didn't notice much of a noise reduction--buffeting has not been a problem for me with either the stock or Triumph Touring screens--riding at speeds up to 80 mph. Then, I turned toward the sun and realized I hadn't put my face-shield down, yet.
This screen is a keeper in my book. I guess looks are in the eyes of the beholder or whatever...anyway, I like the looks of the Calsci better than either the stock or Triumph Touring screens. The 1050 is not a sport bike, and the sport bike type screens look out of place on it, IMHO. The 1050 is tall, the rider sits up-right, the mirrors are rather high, and the tail bag is high...so to me the +7 Calsci looks very good on the bike.
