How much does it cost to change the fuel map to suit an aftermarket exhaust. I've been told 45minutes at a cost of 20pounds. I thought they just plug in a laptop thingy and it takes a few second. Can someone tell me.

Hi Boo
When I had the Triumph Can fitted by myself the dealer took 12 odd minutes to do the retune, not sure of the cost as he done it for free, but I have heard around £20 / 24......hope this helps

Thanks Alan,

I had the off-road tune for 20quid and it was done in half-hour. I noticed the difference straight away, much smoother and consistant power delivery through turning the throttle.

Hi
The not so legal "racecan" tune up was 15min. and the mechanic I go did not charge a bit.
If in the Netherlands try Katmotoren in Noordwijkerhout.
They are great on service knowlegde and coffee
Have a look
WW

p.s. I am not sponsered or any way other then a satisfied customer :-D
