fog light switch

Hi Guys. Just got some projection fogs for the Tiger. The kit comes complete with relay, etc. but I need a switch to operate them. I would like a splash proof rocker to fit next to the heated grip rocker on the facia panel. I can get the heated grip switch for £20 but wondered what you guys have used and where you have mounted them?

Next question is, is there a favourite conection place to get the high amp power to feed the relay?

Thanks, Roy.

I bought a lighted toggle switch from Circuit City for $5. Works like a charm. My fog lights are hardwired directly to the battery (with an inline fuse). See photo of location of switch:

I have one of the round switches sold by the people in the link below.

http://www.thetoolboxshop.com/0-531-...tch-1096-p.asp

Mine is fitted in the dash next to the heated grip switch, it does not need to be a high Amp rating as all it is doing is energising the relay, the power to my switch is taken from the sidelight wiring and the relay is wired through a fuse direct from the battery.

Thanks guys. I am going to vehicle wiring products this afternoon, I like the look of their splashproof toggle switch and at less than £3 inc. vat, it's not going to break the bank!

I am trying to avoid wiring the high amp side direct to the battery and I am also looking for a connection point for the high amp for my Stebel Nautaless horn. One place would be the supply side of the starter solanoid? Need to take a look at the wiring diag. and see if anything lends it's self readilly.

Roy.
