Please excuse this newbie question, Being of 'normal' stature, I've taken the Tiger Off-Road. Not radical rocks and downed trees, but mud, gumbo, freshly turned mud. Abandoned Rail tracks and new sub-divisions that have been freshly graded! :-D Mud and rocks wedge between fender and tire bad. Slowing my slow 'adventures' even more so. Anybody raise the fender for more clearance? Maybe just an inch or two, 4-5 cm? Thanks in advance for ideas....good or bad.. :-D

If you did raise the front mud guard you'd need to make up extensions for the fixings and put on a longer brake hose.

Or you could make a big beak like the BMW GS :-D

There's a fella on www.triumph-tiger.com that raised his. Take a look in the mods forum on that site.

That is me. You do not need to get longer hoses if you only raise it an inch. You will need to move the "loop" section farther back, but it is easy. We just used some flat pieces of aluminum to build new brackets.
