Which RAM mounting kit ?

Hi chaps :
I placed a "holding deposit" on a black Tiger with ABS today

I have ordered a Stebel Nautilus horn (which, if you haven't tried one, they are one of THE best safety devices you can have).

I have my Garmin 2720 sat-Nav and RAM Mount (to hold the device) and just need your advice (and pictures) on the best place to mount it on the Tiger.

The easy option is a simple "U" bend handlebar mount which offers up the required RAM mount ball. However, you may have better options; please let me know (and see). Thanks

Mine's a 06 Tiger, but like you've mentioned I used the RAM 'U' bracket and long arm to mount my Garmin Zumo.

I've looked at several positions on the bars, but in the end, opted for the left hand side, just in from the mirror.

I found this place the unit at a nice height and distance without being in the way.

John,

I also use the U bolt on the handlebar. With the long arm you get a lot of flexibility.

+1 on mounting spot. Use the same on my 06. Makes for easy reach

I agree with the hardware and location. My Lowrance is mounted up there and the height and distance is spot on.
