Lowered '07 Tiger?

Has anyone lowered an '07 Tiger?
Now much?
How does it handle and otherwise act?

I used lowering link plates from a place in Holland -- sorry, I don't have the URL handy. There is also a guy in Australia now selling them for quite a bit less. Take a look at Tiger1050.com and search for lowering kits/links. Lots of stuff there.

My bike was lowered about 30mm in the rear, and I dropped the triple tree down the forks about 20mm to even things out. The changes in handling are subtle at best, and most of the time imperceptible. The biggest change is that you have to be careful parking the bike -- without shortening the sidestand, it sits more upright.

Lower seat

Mine's got the lower seat option from Triumph. I think it makes the seat about 30mm lower - makes quite a difference. I tried one without it and it was way too tall. I think the lower seat also has more cutaway at the sides - which is an added benefit. It's also gel filled so is more comfotable than the standard seat.

Thanks,
So it sounds like no significant handling changes but only a hair over 1" lower.
Maybe two hairs over 2" with both solutions.
