cee Baily #2 question

Any tall guy's using this screen? Am 6-2 and measured according to the CB website for height. I get a 6" above stock screen? Does this sound correct?? What to check before I try and order.

I'm 6' and have a #2+6. The wind and buffetting are lots less, but the wind does hit the top of my helmet. I think it's a real crapshoot when it comes to height - of windscreen or rider - because of all the positioning variables. If you tend to ride back or forward, how are your handlebars positioned, are you tall because of long legs or upper body, and on and on....I guess the good news is that Cee Bailey screens have a pretty good resale value on Ebay! Also, from one hot country rider to another, the big screen really reduces the cooling effects of the wind. It's noticibly warmer with the big screen. As for bugs, the big screen is a good thing! The insect season is just kicking in here in Arizona, last week's 290 mile ride coated the screen and the front of the bike quite thoroughly. My helmet had a few splats on the very top, but nothing on the visor. aAso, the build quality of Cee Bailey is exceptional, probably due to all the years of aircraft experience.

Cee Bailey's Screen #2

Hey RT!

I'm 6'4" and ride with a Corbin seat. I had the Cee Baileys #2 screen, the biggest they come, 8.5 inches higher and a bit wider with "side screen". Check out my album for some pics. The screen worked well, but I got hit with buffeting right at the helmet. Granted, if I hunkered down just a bit, it was SMOOOOTH sailing. I might have been fine with the original seat set-up.

Anyway, I just installed a MRA Vario screen, though I have not yet tested it (doing neglected maintenance on the bike!) If your interested, I'd be happy to sell you the Cee Bailey's screen for a small price (it's just sitting in my garage). At least you could test it out without a major investment.

Let me know......
