I am a Tiger newbie and I find that the clutch lever is a long reach from the bar compared to the Sprint I had before, mind you it did have span adjusters.

Does anyone have a fix for this? I did find a replacement lever assembly on a website but it said that the Triumph hand guard could not be fitted to it so that's not much good to me.

Hi Ourrunner

Clicky

works for me and you can still use the stock hand guards

starter lock out also not a problem for me

I leave a bit of excess slack in the cable and try to use light gloves.

The slack allows you to pull in with your finger tips then the leave will slide into your natural pull position.

Seems to avoid to reach that most of us have experienced.

Thanks for the tips guys, I will be off into the shed after tea to see what I can rig up. Not too sure about disabling the starter switch as the bike is still under warranty. :???:

Andy.

I ground down the fulcrum of the lever to get it to sit closer to the bars...cut the balls off, too, to make them shorter because they still would hit my Acerbis guards.

(my bike is a Steamer, though, not sure if fuelies have the same lever setup)
