Hi there...new to the forum and new to the Triumph world.

I've just upgraded to the Tiger from an Aprilia Tuono and am extremely happy with the quality and rideability of this bike.

I've started making a few little changes and thought I might share the latest addition. When I took delivery of the bike I ordered the Arrow full race system that's designed for the Speed Triple. It took over 2 months for the order to arrive (seems the boats are slow between the UK and Australia), anyway I finally got the gear and fitted it all last week.

It obviously requires a little remodelling but it has worked out amazingly well and looks like a completely factory system, especially as the end can has the Triumph logo etched into it.

The boost in low and mid range power is extraordinary and makes the bike feel similar to the Tuono plus the sound is awesome.

Well worth the $2000 price tag. If anyone wants to see what it looks like I'd be happy to send photos. I don't know if you can add images to this post.

cheers

I would like to see some pics when you have time. Also, do you lose the catalytic converter with the full system? Would it be possible to use just the Arrow muffler. I would assume though that the biggest gain would be with the full system.

Hi Mark,

I also came from a Tuono, i'd love to see your system but I need to post 9 more times on this forum before I can pm or email you.
Have you joined the www.tiger1050.com forum yet, they would love to see it over there.

G'day Mark,

I'm in the same position as GUV in that I've only just joined this forum, so I can't PM you to get some piccies.

I was wondering if the Arrow system would clear a factory centrestand?

I'm still waiting for my Tiger to turn up, why is there such a delay in supplying Tigers in Oz?

Hi All,
Sorry for the delayed responses, I've been away and only just checking back into the forum.
More than happy to send photos if you want to reply to my email address
mark.carmichael@aimnet.com.au

cheers

PS
In response to HGaither's query on Catalysts...we don't have them in Australia so it's not something we have to cater for when replacing systems

sax_000,
i'd say the pipe could be made to miss the centre stand. As the middle pipe has to be lengthened anyway, it wouldn't be hard to divert it around the stand.
As it is the middle pipe on mine misses the mounting on the engine.

Regarding the slow delivery in Aus, yeah it's amazing, I don't think Triumph realised what a great thing they made and didn't do a big enough production run.

I bought mine the day it arrived at Bikebiz in Parramatta. They decided they wouldn't put their single bike on as a demo so I bought it without even having a test ride on one. Just saw it and bought it on the spot.
They been choking on that decision ever since. They've rung me a few times asking how it is and I even took it over there so they could take marketing photos once the Arrow system was fitted.
Everyone in the shop came out and were ohhhing and ahhing over the thing.
It looks pretty trick.
