I'm curious if the bodywork like the fairing and fuel tank can be switched between the 1999-2000, 2001-2004, and 2005-2006 models. They seem to have different model numbers (I checked the numbers for black in each of the model ranges) but I'm not sure whether that's cosmetic or due to real differences. Has anyone tried this?

I put my 1999 back together with parts from bikes after 1998. Front cowl, little-black-parts-in-the-front-with-the-indicators-on-them, seat, rear fender, windshield, taillight, none of them were '99s.

And everybody thinks all Australians sound like the Croc Hunter! I haven't heard Aussitalian since I was out with me Bundy-saturated mates in Innisfail! It was in QLD where I fell in love with the Tiger (Tigah!)
