After doing some searching, and reading the existing posts re centerstands on the Tiger, I'm not real sure which way to go. I got a quote from my dealer for $154.70 for the Triumph unit, while Twisted Throttle sells the SW Motech for $182 shipped. They list two different models, as does Triumph, which is consistent with the various posts here about threaded pivots, self-loosening bolts, twisty brackets, wrong stands installed on post '04 bikes, etc. (mine's an '06) Anybody have the SW Motech unit? Is the newer Triumph stand for the '05-'06 models a better design than the older style? Is the SW Motech worth the extra jing? (The pic of the '04 model looks a tad cheesy Lookee here and they don't have a pic of the '05-'06 unit.
Any thoughts? Thanks. (and yah, it should be standard!) :hammer:

I have the Triumph unit, and after a little tweaking am very happy with it. (The bolts they include are far too long, which doesn't really hurt anything, but I cut a spacer to make the stop more positive. )

I hear that you cannot use the Touratech centerstand, but luckily I have no plans to fit the Touratech centerstand!
