I want a stereo, with speakers I can hear at 80mph. Just like a Goldwing. Any suggestions?
I also want air conditioning, and one of them pop-up dvd players. Probably, there is a law against playing porno dvds on a motorcycle. I don't have any porno dvds, but I suppose it's something to consider, anyway.

I have a HUD (Heads Up Display) in my helmet that I can switch between navigation, engine instruments, real-time satellite images of the road ahead, and movies. My speakers are implanted in the bone right behind my ear. Works pretty well, only cost $63,500 for the hardware and $20,000 in bribes to the unnamed DARPA engineer.

JRO,
I think you hit your bogey with the question - the answer is to go ahead and get the 'wing!
At first I thought this was going to be a thread about your bitchin' new dual pipe exhaust - that should be all the stereo you need on the scoot!
Glad you're active again, look forward to more of your posts!
Brian

Try the Starcom1 for the stereo--works at all speeds very well. The speakers are in your helmet. :-D You can plug in your MP3 or other music device as well as 2-way radio, pillion headset, and cell phone--but no video (porn or otherwise).

Rumble Road makes the best external motorcycle speakers on the market.
The speakers have built in amplifiers so they have to be wired to the battery but that means you can hook an MP3 player, cd player or most anything directly to the speakers without needing an external amp to run it thru.

I bought my starcom1 from corsastrada.com; however, when I phoned them to order another power cord recently their phone had been disconnected. I ordered the power cord from spoiledbiker.com. If I were to order another starcom1 unit I would probably use spoiledbiker.com/starcom1.html.
The starcom1 unit is made in England; however, there are more than one outlet for them in the states.
