Has anyone tried using Touratech's Rallye footpegs? I bought a pair last week, thought I'd fit them in 5 minutes, only to find that the o/s one fouls the rear brake foot pedal. They are back on the shelf awaiting the time and know-how to lower the brake. Any suggestions? :???:

Are the footrests lower than the origional ones? If so you can adjust the brake lever down over using the threaded link bar that is attached to the piston on the rae master cylinder.

How much lower are they? I am wanting to lower the rests on my Tiger and when asked Touratech they said they were the same height as the origionals. What was the delivery like from Touratech? I have head these take a long time to arrive

Cheers John

Thanks Geordie. The pegs arrived from Touratech within a week. They look really well engineered. They sit lower and a little further forward than the originals, but for a 6' 4" bloke they suit me fine. I will try the adjustment you suggest. Cheers.

How did you get on adjusting the brake? Did you also have to adjust the gear lever? Sorry for all the questions - I want to lower the rests on my Tiger and basically want to know whether the Touratech rests are the ones to go for to do this Thanks John

Hi John,
No, there is no prob with the gear lever. The brake adjustment was a bit of a fiddle, but the pegs are a definite improvement for us longer legged types.
