Not sure about the part No, but.... I`ve just traded my 99 tiger in and have the sports can and intermediate pipe ( silencer box comes off) up for sale, in good condition, sounds nice
Interested ?

so did i last night, and only £51.00,complete with heatshield so i am looking forward to fitting it this week for a ride out next sunday up to the tan hill inn.

let us know if you notice any difference with yours,or any problems.

have you got the connector pipe,or are you leaving the collector box on,underneath the bike?

Well I fitted the new triumph sports can, and its no louder that the stock one, apart from a little over run and a rather throaty rasp when you rev it up slightly, or pull away from lights or junctions, but I have had my mate, ride behind me and we ride out every weekend, and he says it sounds better BUT not louder.

BUT!!! What a difference in power, the mid range has improved, it is so smooth on the throttle now and the pick up from top gear is awesome, it always had a tiny amount of injector lag at very slow town and traffic jam speeds, but not any more. So I am well pleased. A bargain for £50.00 and free mapping.

I would really suggest, you get the sports can map put in the ecu, even if you haven’t got a sports can, it really makes a difference and my dealer does it as standard, with no detrimental effects to the bikes at all, in case your worried.
:-D :-D

I left the collector box on. Which leaves me the question should I remove it (I'm sure I could have a pipe made pretty cheap)? I love the sound, I agree I don't think it's that much loader just a nicer sound. I'm having trouble with back fires though, there seems to be an awfully lot all of a sudden. Any ideas? I had the tune changed at the same time I put the can on so I'm not sure if it was me installing the can or the tune. So the weather is pretty crappy today so I took off the can and reinstalled it with some more sealant around the edges. Hopefully aligning the clamp better.
