Hello all, I have today spoken to Triumph Uk about a knocking coming from the front forks of my 2006 Tiger. The bike has 800miles on the clock from new. I first brought it to the attention of my local dealer on the 500 mile service, they told me that it was a characteristic of the bike. I used a courtesy Tiger while mine was been serviced, and yes it knocked. Although it is claimed that it wont damage anything inside the fork, my concern is for rider safety ( how many of you have this problem, and how many of you take your eyes off the road looking at the forks or listening to see where the knocking is coming from, the point i'm trying to make is, that this is a distraction to some riders which could have serious cosequences) Triumph have offered to take my bike back to the factory for investigation, i believe that they will have to do somethiong about this problem and maybe yours

I would be grateful for positive feedback on this subject, it could be you!!

If you do a search, this subject has been covered a few times. Quite a few on here and on other Tiger boards have the very same issue.

I think it has been a problem on all the new type Tigers (silver frame models) and pretty much everyone has been told, it will do no harm, etc, etc.

personally, I am like you - I would be very unhappy with this as i cannot believe it was designed operate in this manner.

You are the first I have heard of that Triumph has offered to investigate though
