My Tiger didn't come with an underseat tool kit. (was it supposed to )
I definitely want one in there but I know that sometimes the OEM kits aren't the best deal for the money. I could just as easily buy a heavy duty bag and build one myself. My Daytona underseat kit is actually somewhat handy because it has the chain adjuster for the Single Side Swingarm but other than that, not much else special in there. For the Tiger, I imagine all the tools being somewhat conventional.
Don't know if it was mean't to have one, but mine has one in Triumph Pouch, three spanners and a screwdriver. Its located
on the underside of the seat retained by a rubber strap. Not
much of a kit but was free!
but I do carry other items torch, tyre repair kit/inflator, cable ties bulbs, fuses, spare tips for Scottoiler
and rubber gloves and a couple of relays all these are in a plastic waterproof box in the underseat storage
I thought my new Tiger was missing the tool kit until I looked under the seat itself and it was strapped tightly to it,perhaps yours is there too!!!???
Yeah, it's crap! Apart from the spanner to undo the rear wheel nut, and its extension bar, I've replaced all the tools with quality items, and I've added a few more. I'm also preparing to make a tool to undo the front wheel spindle, which will fit in the pouch.
I find the tools I need to pack with me by putting the tools I use, while working on the bike, in a tray or similar. I only use those tools. If it becomes apparent that I don't have a needed tool in the tray, I add it.
All the tools I feel could be needed on a trip, easily fit in the under seat storage area.
No torque wrenches, mind you, but you can estimate how hard to pull.
Certainly not Snap-on or Matco, but a far sight better than the OEM stuff.
